Sabrina at 4 Months!

Four months have gone by already...almost time for solid foods, rolling over, crawling...argh!  But not yet!  She's still a {relatively} tiny baby and I am relishing all the slobbery kisses and chubby snugliness of her baby fat.  She just makes me gush and can brighten any day with her sweet smile!

Height/Weight:  14 lbs. 15 oz. and 25 in. long.  She is in the 95th percentile for her height, so she will be tall!  Her weight is now about balanced with her height.  She is still in 3-6 month clothing but some of the onesies are a bit short for her long body.

Eating Habits:  Still about the same from last month, just a bit less breastmilk.  :(  She nurses once a day and has a bottle the other times.  She eats fast!  I tried to use "slow" nipples but that just frustrates her.  I think she recognizes the word "bottle" already, because one mention of it and she starts grunting!

Sleeping Habits:  Just the same as last month...1-2 short morning naps, 1 loooong afternoon nap, then in bed from 7:30pm to 5:00 or 6:00am.  Sometimes she'll fuss a bit before 5, but will go back to sleep easily.  She's still in our room, I'm just not ready to see her leave yet!

Motor Skills:  She has rolled over once from her back to her tummy.  She kind of did a sideways crunch and somehow flopped over.  It has yet to happen again, but I'm sure it's coming soon.  What to do with 2 mobile kids???  She grabs toys and things in front of her and plays with her hands...still looking for her feet, though!

Being Sisters:  Sabrina absolutely adores her sister.  She just stares at Kayla and smiles a big goofy smile!  I love it.  Kayla is equally in love and is super gentle with her.  She brings Sabrina toys, gives her a paci when she's upset and whispers, "It's okay, it's okay," and she's interested in just about everything about her "big sister" (yeah, she has the terms confused!).
